3월 28일에 시작한 “최소의 지정학” 프로젝트는 5월 말에 모두가 참여할 수 있는 공공 프로그램을 기획하고 있습니다. 이에 앞서 이 프로젝트에 참여하는 네 명의 참여 예술가의 토크를 진행합니다. 사전 등록 없이 편하게 당일 자리해 주시고, 바림이 아닌 근처 미로센터에서 열리니 주의해 주세요. 여러 규제가 풀리고 날씨도 좋으니, 오랜만에 만나서 이야기 나눌 수 있으면 좋겠습니다. 영어 사용자가 많을시 통역이 제공됩니다.

김익명 (사운드 / 부산, 서울, 헤이그) 은 연구자, 사운드 아티스트이며 사운드 아트 레이블 Acoustic Territories를 운영한다. 환경과 인간 간의 커뮤니케이션을 통해 드러나는 소리와 음악에 초점을 맞추며, 심리 지리학의 맥락에서 소리를 탐구한다. 이번 연구에서 역사적인 장소에서 드러나는 음향을 문화적 맥락의 이해 밖에서의 들으며, 그 듣는 행위가 어떤 이야기를 만들어낼 수 있는지 탐험한다.
유승아 (이론, 기획 / 서울) 는 사회적 맥락들이 투영되는 장소로서 신체의 문제에 주목하며 시각 예술에 관해 사유한다. 그리고 그것을 이론과 실천의 망에서 글과 전시로 엮는다. 이번 프로젝트에서는 최소의 지정학을 인간 개체의 몸으로 상정하고, 세계화와 디지털 디바이스로 인한 장소 개념의 탈구 현상 속에서 관계적 지리학을 통해 ‘장소감(senses of place)’을 형성하는 공동체에 관해 연구한다.
이서영 (문학, 텍스트 / 광주) 은 광주에 거주하고 있는 시인이며 문화 기획자로, 장르적 구분에 갇히지 않는 글쓰기를 지향하며 문학동인 공통점과 함께한다. 특히 장르, 지역, 성별을 비롯해 각종 이분법적 구분을 희미하게 하는 경계 전쟁에 주목하며 자연히 생겨나는 노이즈를 문학으로 구현하고자 한다. 이번 연구에서 메모리+인덱스 개념으로 지역의 역사성에 접근해, 광주의 강박으로부터 갈라지고 튀어나온 곳을 찾아 가장 사적인 방식의 글쓰기를 제안한다.
임인자 (극, 활동가 / 광주) 는 연극을 전공하고, 사회와 예술을 잇는 다양한 작업을 해왔다. 서울변방연극제 예술감독(2010-2015), 형제복지원 피해생존자 모임 총무(2013), 예술에 대한 검열과 블랙리스트에 저항(2015), 광장극장 블랙텐트(2017)를 거쳐, 광주광역시 예술인 지위와 권리보장 조례 제정 민관협치 위원으로 참여했다. 광주에서 2016년부터 오월지기로 활동, 소년의서라는 독립 출판사이자 서점을 운영하고 있다. 이번 연구에서 탈서울을 지향하고자 하는 시대에 아파트와 빌딩이 높이 들어서는 광주의 현상을 아파트/자본 사대주의의 관점에서 연구한다.

Unknown Kim (Sound / Busan, Seoul, The Hague) is a researcher and sound artist. She runs the sound art label Acoustic Territories. She focuses on sound and music manifested through communication between the environment and humans, and explores sound in the context of psychogeography. In this research, she listens to the acoustics of historical places outside of their cultural context and explores how the act of listening can create stories.
Seunga You (Theoretical, Curatorial / Seoul) looks at visual art by focusing on the body as a site where social contexts are projected. She interweaves it into texts and exhibitions in a network of theory and practice. In this project, she imagines the idea of minimal geopolitics as the body of a human individual and studies communities that form ‘senses of place‘ through relational geography amidst the dislocation of the concept of place caused by globalization and digital devices.
Seoyoung Lee (Literature, Text / Gwangju) is a poet and cultural organizer living in Gwangju. She is interested in writing beyond genre classifications and is a member of Common Point, a literary community. In particular, she pays attention to the boundary wars that blur genre, region, gender, and other dichotomous distinctions and seeks to embody naturally occurring noise in literature. In this research, she approaches local historicity with the concept of Memory + Index, and proposes the most personal form of writing by finding a place that cracks and protrudes from the obsession of Gwangju.
Inza Lim (Theater, Activist / Gwangju) majored in theater and has worked on various projects connecting society and art. She was the artistic director of the Seoul Marginal Theatre Festival (2010-2015), the secretary of the Brothers Home Survivors Group (2013), led the Anti-blacklist (2015) and Black Tent movement (2017), and a member of enacting Gwangju Artists’ Rights. She is a guide for May 18 sites and runs an independent publisher/bookstore called Boys Book Shop. In this research, she examines Gwangju’s skyline of high-rise apartments and buildings, exploring apartment fever and capitalism in contrast to a time when more people start to leave Seoul.
